What kind of caravans, motorhomes and campervans do you purchase?

Here at Capital Caravans, we are always interested in purchasing all makes and models including imported caravans. No make or model is off limits, we only have on restriction, and that being that the maximum age we buy is 25 years old.

How will Capital Caravans value my caravan?

Capital Caravans use the current glass valuation guide to value your caravan. This is alongside many years of experience. Our promise to you is that we aim to pay you the best possible price for your caravan, motorhome, or campervan. Please remember to include any extras on the valuation form you feel will increase the value of your caravan. The information you provide on the form you complete will determine the valuation we offer to you. All prices quoted are subject to inspection. We understand and are realistic that we are buying a used caravan or motorhome.

Can we deliver the caravan to you?

Capital Caravan’s offer for your caravan, motorhome, and campervan is based on free inspection and collection from your home or place of storage. We do this for ease and convenience. This is what sets us apart from many other caravan buyers. Quite often, their offer is inflated, and they insist you deliver the goods to them. They believe that once the caravan is at their site, you will be less likely to want to take it home.

What happens if I’ve forgotten to disclose a fault?

Be as honest as possible when providing us with the information for your caravan, motorhome or campervan. Our valuation is based on the description you provide (subject to inspection). If you describe your condition as average, good, very good, excellent, or as new condition we would expect everything to be working as it should. If it turns out that the condition is not as described, the offer will be adjusted to reflect its true condition.

How will I be paid for my caravan?

Our preferred method of payment is to pay you the money direct into your bank account. In certain circumstances by prior arrangement and agreement, the payment may be able to be made in cash.

How long will it take to receive the money?

Instantly! We transfer the money or can pay you cash for your caravan on the day of collection. There is no delay, the sale of the caravan, motorhome or campervan in as quicker time as possible. We pay and then we take away.

How quick can you buy my caravan?

It’s down to you. Once you have accepted our offer we will arrange a time that is convenient to you. Our offer stands for 14 days until you decide. Once you have said yes, we can then arrange the collection at our earliest convenience.

What happens if I have outstanding finance?

If you have outstanding finance remaining on your caravan, we can settle this on your behalf. Once we have a settlement figure, we will clear the amount on the collection of your caravan and then pay you the balance.
